                       Attention RC Aces Membership
This is a RC Flying Club........So come out to the field and fly
The field is in great shape, new improvements have been added, the weather is starting to co-operate and your planes
need dusting off, so let's see more faces and planes at the field. Thursday afternoon (after 3:30pm) is set aside for
new pilot instruction or seasoned pilots seeking a little help

The RC Aces would like to thank and congratulate club member and Eagle Scout candidate, Joe Berard
on the completion of his Eagle Scout Project. Joe and his army of scout family volunteers refurbished
the setup tables at our flying field. Great job all.

Every now and then, as webmaster, I get the chance to post an RC article that is out of the box but means a lot
to a special person and so it is with this story.
Last fall I placed a "for sale" ad on RC Group for a basic red & white PZ Archer which I had no luck flying, Bryan
contacted me and sale was made. END OF STORY RIGHT.....WRONG, Bryan's purchase was not just to add another
plane to his hanger but to turn the Archer into a Tribute RC version of his grandfathers Arrow.

Looks like he did a fine job.
To Arnold Redeker flying was a passion and Bryan says he was still flying into his 90's. Arnold passed this spring and Bryan says " the RC plane was on display at his funeral and had a flyover using his actual Arrow and then a tribute flight with the RC version shortly after."
